Stone Tool Checker is operated by Tyler Kung ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information the site handles and how. We aim to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — for security and to keep the site running. We do not use this to identify you.

We do not currently set our own tracking cookies. If we later add analytics, email sign-ups (e.g., price-drop alerts), or other features that collect personal information, we will update this policy first and, where required, ask for your consent.

Outbound links & affiliate networks

When you click a link to a retailer, that retailer — and, for affiliate links, an affiliate network (such as Impact) — may set their own cookies or record the referral to attribute a possible sale. That activity is governed by their privacy policies, not ours. See our disclosures for how affiliate links work.

Service providers

We use third-party infrastructure to operate the site (for example, our website host). These providers process technical data (like server logs) only to provide their service.

Your choices

Because we collect essentially no personal information and do not sell or share personal information, there is little to opt out of. If you're a California resident and have a question about your information under the CCPA, or any other privacy question, contact us and we'll respond.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves; we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
